On Saturday 17 September, from 11:00 to 18:30, the emblematic Barrio de la Estación in Haro (La Rioja) will host the second edition of this great wine and wine tourism event. In 2015, participation was a resounding success as the seven organising wineries managed to welcome more than 4,500 people, a magnificent result that led, in the year of the premiere of this initiative, to the awarding of the 2015 Bilbao-Rioja Wine Tourism Best Of award. This emblematic place has, as a great differentiating element compared to other internationally renowned wine regions, the largest concentration of century-old wineries in the world located around the Haro Train Station: López de Heredia Viña Tondonia, CVNE, Bodegas Gómez Cruzado, La Rioja Alta S.A., Bodegas Bilbaínas, Bodegas Muga and Bodegas Roda.
This is a meeting promoted by the Association for the Tourist Development of the Barrio de la Estación (ADT), a group made up of the seven wineries of the Barrio de la Estación in Haro, founded with the aim of promoting the development of tourism in this area through joint actions to consolidate this prestigious place as one of the main international wine tourism destinations.
