Wine bar and terrace:
Shop and Wine Bar: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:30 and Saturdays and holidays from 10:00 to 14:30. Closed on Sunday.
Terrace: Monday to Sunday from 12:30 to 15:00.
6 and 8 December from 10:00 to 14.30.
Christmas: 24 and 31 December from 10:00 to 13:30. Closed 25 December and 1 January.

Get to know us
Bodegas Muga is a family business founded in 1932 by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño. Its facilities are located in a bicentenary building in the emblematic Barrio de la Estación in Haro (La Rioja).
Since its beginnings, it has been characterised by using the finest materials, combining the tradition that characterises them -clarification using the traditional method of fresh egg white and gravity racking- with the most advanced winemaking techniques, with the firm objective of making wines of the highest quality without renouncing the authenticity that characterises them.
Muga uses oak throughout the entire winemaking and ageing process. In fact, it is the only winery in Spain that has a master cooper and three coopers, who make the tanks and barrels in the winery’s own cooperage.
In short, Bodegas Muga has managed to combine the most absolute family tradition with a renewed vision of the future, which has allowed them to maintain a very defined character and personality of their own.

Balloon trip
A balloon ride and a traditional Riojan lunch, a unique and unforgettable experience.
Pick up at the place agreed with the winery one hour before sunrise and weather permitting.
Preparation and inflation of the balloon: we will all participate in the assembly and inflation of the balloon.
Take-off and flight: after 20 minutes we are ready to take off. We will be able to experience how we get off the ground. We will fly for about an hour over the vineyards and fields of the area, always at the mercy of the wind.
Landing: Our follow vehicle will pick us up after landing, after which we will enjoy a well-deserved traditional Riojan lunch.
Celebration and farewell: we will present our clients with a diploma certifying the flight (“Aerial Baptism”) and we will take them to the meeting point to visit Bodegas Muga. Ask us about the option of having lunch at the winery.
Price: 170 € /person. If you want to make an unforgettable gift and fly exclusively with your partner, chartering a balloon just for you, the price is 400 € /person.
Minimum age 12 years old. Activity subject to weather conditions.
