La Cata del Barrio de la Estación won the 2015 Bilbao-Rioja Wine Tourism Best Of award yesterday, 12 November 2015. These awards were presented at a gala held at the Guggenheim (Bilbao), which also served to close the International Assembly of the Network of Capitals and Great Vineyards.
This award recognises the work carried out by this collaborative and innovative initiative carried out by seven of the most significant wineries in La Rioja (Bodegas Bilbaínas, CVNE, Gómez Cruzado, López de Heredia, Muga, Bodegas La Rioja Alta and Roda) in the field of wine tourism.
The international projection of La Cata del Barrio de la Estación was also highlighted, together with its capacity to bring together wine experts and all kinds of wine lovers in two days.
