Station District International Wine Encounters II: Barolo y Barbaresco

After the success of its first edition, the Station District in Haro will host International Wine Encounters II: Barolo and Barbaresco on Monday 8 May. An event that promotes the international spirit of the wineries in the Station District, through twinning with wineries in prestigious wine-growing areas.

On this occasion CVNE, Muga, Gómez-Cruzado, La Rioja Alta S.A. and Bodegas RODA will host the wines of Fratelli Cavallotto, Marchesi di Barolo, Ceretto, G.D. Vajra, Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy and Roagna, from the Piedmontese areas of Barolo and Barbaresco.

Throughout the day, from 10:00 to 18:00, a showroom divided between the Muga and CVNE facilities will offer a selection of wines from the Riojan and Piedmontese wineries for the convenience of those attending. The tasting will allow, on the one hand, to taste the great wines and novelties of the wineries in the Barrio and, on the other, to travel to the northwest of Italy, in Piedmont, where some of the most respected Italian wines are found, from two regions that have travelled around the world thanks to the nebbiolo variety.

The programme also includes various activities that will take place in each of the participating wineries that belong to the Station District Association. There will also be a gastronomic offer, located in front of CVNE, in the Central car park, where you can eat and recharge your batteries during the event.

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
