The Barrio de la Estación Tasting consists of a day dedicated to getting to know and tasting the wines produced by the wineries. The aim of the event is to highlight the recognised quality of these wines and the Barrio de la Estación as a unique area with an incalculable oenological, cultural, historical and architectural heritage.
On this day, attendees will walk freely through the Barrio de la Estación, which has been pedestrianised for the day, and will enter the wineries where they will taste the wines (two per winery) and the gastronomic creations (one per winery).
The wines on offer will be top-of-the-range and international benchmark wines, specially selected by each winery for this special celebration.
In this edition, the gastronomic aspect of the event has been significantly improved.
As well as wine tastings and gastronomic creations, there will be musical performances, street shows, activities in the wineries, etc.

The price to enjoy this great festive day of wine and gastronomy for the Gourmet Consumer will be €100, although the organising wineries have arranged a special pre-sale price of €80 + booking fee.

Yes, that’s right. After purchasing a ticket, one per attendee, you will receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided with proof of payment and a link to download the ticket in PDF format. If you do not receive the message within one day, please check your spam/junk folder in case your e-mail manager has placed it there.
You should download the PDF of your ticket and keep it in a safe place.
Before you go to the Station District, remember to print out your ticket. Once there, you must go to the ticket office with your printed copy to exchange it for a glass with a glass hanger, your corresponding drink tickets and the programme of the event.
Remember that each ticket has a unique QR code that will be used to validate your booking. Each code will only be valid once. Do not leave your ticket with someone else or make multiple copies as the first print we validate on the day of the event will automatically cancel the others.

Yes, your ticket is valid for the event on 18 June 2022. You will not need to make any separate arrangements.
NOTE: please make sure that the person who purchased your ticket has not requested a refund. Refunds are managed jointly, it is not possible to return a purchase of several tickets, partially.
(Example. If buyer X purchased 10 tickets in the same purchase and requests the return of one, several or all the tickets of this purchase, this return will be of the 10 tickets, it is not possible to process the partial return of several tickets within the same purchase).

Once you have collected your glass, the glass hanger, your tickets and the programme, you can visit the wineries at your leisure and in the order of your choice.

The usual visits offered by the wineries during the rest of the year do not take place during the celebration of La Cata del Barrio de la Estación because the number of visitors is very high and, therefore, it is not feasible. However, the wineries set up spaces both outside and inside that can be visited freely.

In the Barrio de la Estación itself, as well as in the vicinity, several parking areas will be set up, which will be properly signposted and managed by the organisation’s staff. Parking in these areas is free of charge.

Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the cellars, although they may, of course, move freely through the streets of the Quarter. There are no scheduled activities for children or childcare/custodial service.

Tickets cannot be shared between several people. Each ticket has a unique QR code that will be used to validate the reservation.
All attendees of La Cata del Barrio de La Estación -over 18 years of age- must purchase a ticket, regardless of whether or not they can consume alcohol.

In order to respect as much as possible the spirit and philosophy of the event, no stag or hen parties are allowed during the event and, therefore, no access to the cellars will be allowed.
